Copper was founded by Dmitry Tokarev in 2018 to provide institutional-grade infrastructure for the digital assets market.
The platform supports custody, prime brokerage, collateral management and post trade services for financial institutions and trading firms. This includes the market’s largest global off-exchange settlement network allowing institutions to eliminate exchange counterparty risk. The company has offices across London, New York, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, and Zug and is licensed internationally.
In October 2024, Copper appointed Amar Kuchinad as Global CEO to lead the company’s next phase of growth. With experiences leading capital markets technology scale-ups and executive roles at Goldman Sachs and the SEC, Amar brings deep capital markets and regulatory experience.
