I invest in technology companies across Europe, working closely with founders from the earliest days through to scale. I’m particularly interested in businesses tackling difficult, often overlooked problems - where insight and execution create a real edge. I love getting into the technical detail of a product - getting out of a meeting feeling slightly mind-boggled is the best part of the job.
Before Dawn, I was at Seedcamp working with founders from idea stage through to Series A. A lot of that was helping shape early narratives - which really drilled into me how much of company building comes down to clarity of thinking and just executing consistently.
I started out at Citi on the industrials team, then joined a spatial computing startup where I ran go-to-market and operations.
I've always been drawn to psychology - I genuinely wanted to be a therapist growing up - and I'm still most interested in understanding what makes ambitious people tick. I took a different path, but that curiosity never went away. I think the trajectory of a company is ultimately shaped by the people behind it, so I care as much about how founders think as I do about the product.
Having lived in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, I'm naturally drawn to founders with non-linear backgrounds - across cultures, industries, disciplines. In my experience, that tends to produce more creative and original approaches to building a business.
Outside of work: Pilates, hiking, tennis, and anything art-related.
